Arriving by car is one of the most convenient options, as Alpendorf in St. Johann im Pongau is very close to Salzburg and also located in the immediate vicinity of the A10 Tauern Motorway. Sufficient free parking spaces are available in front of the lift facilities.

Arrival by train and bus
The St. Johann im Pongau ICE station can be reached from many Austrian and German towns without having to change trains. The free ski bus takes you from the station to the valley station of the Alpendorf gondola lift in just a few minutes.
Arrival by plane
For air travellers, we recommend the nearby airports in Salzburg (around a 50-minute drive away) or Munich (around a two-hour drive away). From both airports, the best way to reach St. Johann/Alpendorf is by shared shuttle bus or by taxi.
