Big Mitterstein Tour

From the mountain station, the descent follows the groomed piste to the former valley station of the Mitterstein chairlift. From there, endurance athletes continue along the marked route up to Seethalerhütte at 2,741 metres. The Big Mitterstein Tour starts at the Dachstein mountain station. As the first section leads downhill, please do not attach your skins yet.

The route follows a secured and groomed descent (along the former ski run) down to the old valley station of the Mitterstein chairlift. Once there, attach your skins and continue uphill from here on a demarcated ascent track next to the groomed descent.

Once you have already crossed the Ramsau glacier, you can decide at the trail junction whether you want to get back to the Dachstein mountain station on the left or branch off to the right and continue to the Dirndl Tour to Seethalerhütte.
