Sportgastein Gipfelsieg

The starting point of the ski tour is the middle station of the Goldbergbahn. From the valley, you can take the gondola in comfort, and once you reach the top, you’ll strap on your touring skis. Hike uphill along the left edge of the S6 slope toward the mountain station. Good news: Although the tour starts out on steep slopes, you’ll then glide across mostly flat terrain all the way to the top station. That gives you plenty of time to catch your breath before tackling the final five-minute climb to the summit cross.

And then comes the highlight: As the mountain sun tickles your nose, you’re amazed again and again… and just can’t get enough of the view of the majestic 3,000-meter peaks.
