The Dachstein Ice Palace takes you into a mystical world of ice, deep inside the glacier. A special highlight is the throne made of ice, where visitors can take a seat and take an unforgettable photo in the fascinating icy landscape.
Only about 200 metres away from the hotel is the entrance point to our family ski area in Filzmoos, which is also part of Austria's largest ski association, Ski amadé. The skiing area is an absolute insider tip for connoisseurs and the snow-hungry. Local produce is a priority for us. Basically, our aim is to process as many products as possible from local animals, local farmers and sustainable agriculture. Biathlon is fascinating. Not only on TV, when the world's best athletes lap and try to turn the black targets into white, standing as well as lying down - but also to try it yourself. In Ramsau am Dachstein, there are several possibilities to approach the enthralling world of biathlon. The offers include laser guns, air guns and small calibre rifle, with which one can test his accuracy in the biathlon stadium. The trainer team communicates the correct breathing and shooting technique, in order to find the optimal pulse and rhythm for shooting after the dynamic cross country units.
s'Lärchenpavillon is located directly on the ‘Die Schönste’ piste - one of the most beautiful runs on the Hauser Kaibling. Regular guests like to call it the ‘pizza paradise’. s'Lärchenpavillon is one of the AlmSkihütten and is one of a total of 16 ski huts on the Hauser Kaibling.

Curling is more than a tradition in the Alpine region, it's almost a custom.
Target shooting with the ice stocks is a fun diversion in winter, especially for groups. The Dorfgastein ice shooting club offers guests the opportunity to gain an insight into this winter sport.
Asphalt curling is also possible in summer.
In the land of Kaiserschmarrn and Wiener Schnitzel, culinary art plays a special role. In the Wachtelhof, guests are served Austrian fusion cuisine that allows them to rediscover childhood memories. Honest and unadulterated dishes are served here using high-quality, fresh ingredients – primarily from the region.
In summer and winter the chef seduces his guests with a multi-course menu. Breakfast and dinner can be taken in the hotel's delicacy restaurant or in the Zirbelstube, a rustic, very private séparée with space for 20-25 guests. The parlor exudes history and cosiness and is suitable for festive occasions.
