Evening ski tour Galsterberg:
Ski touring is permitted on the following days:
Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday 

On piste 1 between the GUB valley station and the Galsterbergalmhütte, piste walking and downhill skiing is permitted between 18:00 and 23:00.

The upper section of piste 1 (chairlift mountain station and Galsterbergalmhütte) may be used between 18:00 and 21:00.*

Route description


The Galsterberg ski tour starts at the GUB Galsterberg bottom station directly at the start portal and after a short stretch on the slope leads into the forest, where a signposted route continues. The route continues idyllically up through snow-covered trees towards the GUB top station, with sections of slope and forest passages. From then on, the ascent trail runs along the slope, past the Galsterbergalmhütte to the Vorderkar chairlift top station at 1,984m.

Ski touring along the designated ascent routes is permitted during the designated slope opening times with a valid ski pass for that day.

You can get your ticket at the ticket machine right at the start of the ascent track or at the ticket office at the GUB bottom station.

Ascents along the designated ascent routes are only permitted during slope opening hours and
with a ski pass valid on the day of use. In addition to the regular ski passes, special ski touring
infrastructure cards can be purchased from the online shop. This card includes services such as the use
of parking and toilet facilities at the top and bottom stations. The card must be carried during the ascent
and shown when checked by the lift staff.
