Salzburger Bergadvent in the Großarltal

An authentic Advent market in the Grossarltal with singers and musicians, Christ Child post office, children’s biscuit bakery, village crib, Nativity trail and Crib exhibition, Advent calendar, horse-drawn sleigh rides, torchlight hikes, Advent concerts and singing, Krampuslauf (the period around 6 December, the Feast of St Nicholas, during which his companion, a man in a devil-like costume, wanders the streets), etc., invites every visitor to be amazed and to enjoy. The hectic pre-Christmas rush is left behind with a visit to the Advent market in the Großarltal. But it is best to be convinced for yourself.

The Advent market is open from 21st of November until the 21st of December 2025. (Friday to Sunday)
